About Workpluss: Workpluss is building India’s student workforce platform, connecting college students with part-time jobs, internships, and real-world opportunities while helping businesses access a flexible and early-career talent pool.

Role Overview: We are looking for a driven Business Development Executive to lead the growth of our Part-Time Jobs & Internships vertical. The role involves partnering with companies to create meaningful opportunities for students while driving on boarding and revenue for the platform.

Key Responsibilities: Employer Acquisition & Revenue Generation

  • Identify and onboard companies offering part-time roles and internships.
  • Pitch Workpluss as a solution for hiring early-career talent.
  • Close partnerships and achieve monthly onboarding and revenue targets.
  • Relationship Management:

    1. Build and maintain strong relationships with HR teams, founders, and hiring managers.
    2. Understand hiring needs and ensure quality candidate matching.
    3. Drive repeat hiring and long-term partnerships.
    4. Ensure smooth onboarding process for companies.

    Awareness & Market Education:

    1. Drive awareness about Workpluss across colleges and companies.
    2. Educate businesses on the value of part-time and early talent hiring.
    3. Promote the concept of students as a reliable, flexible workforce.
    4. Act as a brand ambassador for Workpluss within the ecosystem.

    College & Student Ecosystem Alignment:

    1. Work closely with placement cells and student bodies.
    2. Understand student skill sets and align opportunities accordingly.
    3. Ensure quality and relevance of opportunities for students.

    Market Expansion

    1. Identify new industries and companies for internship and part-time hiring.
    2. Explore partnerships with startups, SMEs, and corporates.

    Requirements

    1. Candidates who are/were part of a college placement cell (preferred)
    2. Candidates with experience in: HR firms / recruitment agencies, FMCG / sales-driven roles.
    3. Candidate should have some experience in sponsorship roles in college events.
    4. Strong communication, pitching, and negotiation skills.
    5. Target-driven mindset with a focus on revenue and growth.
    6. Understanding of hiring processes and talent requirements.
    7. Relationship-building and stakeholder management.
    8. Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
